Founded and lead by the award winning Make-up Artist Maggie Tamarua, Tamarua Beauty Academy are passionate and driven to see you succeed. We will provide you with all the knowledge, understanding and skills that you need to progress your career in the beauty industry. For starters, we’re good at what we do – our trainers are industry leaders, experts in their field and when you decide to study with TBA you’re choosing an award-winning institution, setting the bar for education. Course completion alone won’t get you employed, but our content is designed to provide you with the education and skills required to do so, as well as – in many cases – the certification to back up the skill set. Looking at this photo of 20-year-old me doing makeup for a fashion show, I realize she had no idea what was in store. Today, at 46, I’m running the business I always dreamed of. Every challenge, every lesson, and every brushstroke has led me here, and I think she’d be pretty proud of the woman I’ve become.
Running a small business is a labor of love, but it’s undeniably hard right now. Because I care so deeply about the quality I provide, I’m making some updates to my pricing in the coming month. I want to be transparent: this isn’t about making more money, it’s about sustainability and the reality of keeping my doors open.
