KINDA OF CHIC… to enter your first nail comp 🏆
I’ve spent past 3 years refining my craft, investing in education and building a standard of work I’m proud of.
So entering my first nail competition wasn’t about needing someone to tell me I’m good at what I do.
I already know what I bring to the table. 💋
I entered because I wanted my work professionally judged — not by likes, views or an Instagram influencer (boo 👎), but by industry professionals with 20+ years of experience who understand the difference between beautiful salon work and competition-standard work.
I didn’t enter the GNDA-Global Nail Design Awards just to win. I wanted to know where my work stood, what needed refining and how I could push my skills further.
And finding out my Flat Art entry was only a few points from placing in my FIRST competition? 👀🏆
That told me everything I needed to know.
There’s a difference between being an experienced nail tech and becoming a competition nail tech — and I’m ready to explore that next level.
A massive moment for GNDA for being a space where artists can be professionally judged, critiqued and challenged.
I know I’m good at what I do. Now I want to see just how far I can take it. 👍🔥
