Did you know your sunscreen choice could be playing a role in your pigmentation?
When it comes to conditions like melasma and stubborn pigmentation, UV isn’t the only thing we need to think about. Visible light can also contribute to pigment production, and traditional untinted sunscreens may not provide meaningful protection against visible light.
This is where tinted mineral SPF containing iron oxides can be really helpful. Iron oxides help reduce exposure to visible light, giving pigment-prone skin an extra layer of protection alongside broad-spectrum SPF.
