The Winning Post barbers started in 1980 by Matteo Di Benedetto and was known as The Winning Post Men’s Hairstylist at The Mill Park Stables Shopping Centre near the Plough Hotel and Woolworths Supermarket. A decade later his two sons joined the team marking the beginning of a family business. In the mid 80’s it changed to serve Men’s and Ladies' hairdressers servicing the Whittlesea shire including the suburbs of Mill Park, South Morang, Bundoora, Lalor, Thomastown just to mention a few. The Winning Post Barbers has built a strong clientele that still stands today, with many generations of clients still continuing to choose The Winning Post Barbers. The Business is renowned for its loyalty to its customers, attention to detail, and humorous atmosphere offering the best services around. If you’re lucky enough you might even get a good tip for a Saturday afternoon horse meet. 40 years on it is now back to where it started as The Winning Post Barbers. We specialise in Men’s Skin fades, Men’s Haircuts, Beard Trims, Line Ups, and Head Shaves, and also buzz cuts.

A Big Welcome to Jack.....
Jack – Apprentice Barber at The Winning Post Barbers Mill Park
Jack is a driven first-year apprentice barber at The Winning Post Barbers, a trusted family-run shop with over 40 years in the Mill Park community. Located at The Stables Shopping Centre, the barbershop is known for its quality service, traditional techniques, and welcoming atmosphere.
Training under seasoned barbers Tony and Gino, Jack is developing his craft with a strong focus on men’s grooming, skin fades, beard trims, and clipper work. He complements his on-the-job learning with formal studies at Kangan Institute, further sharpening his skills and industry knowledge.
