CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY

At Beauty & Body by the Bay, your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. When you cancel at the last minute or don’t attend your appointment, that time cannot be offered to another client, which directly impacts our small business.

APPOINTMENT REMINDERS

As a courtesy, we send two reminder text messages prior to your appointment. These reminders are sent to give you plenty of notice and allow you to confirm your appointment or contact us if you need to make a change.

Please ensure you confirm your appointment when prompted and contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend.

24-HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations or changes made within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a $35 cancellation fee.

NO-SHOW POLICY

If you fail to attend your appointment without providing notice, a $35 no-show fee will apply.

For new clients, if you no-show your first appointment, you will not be able to rebook unless the $35 no-show fee is paid upfront.

REPEAT CLIENTS

Repeat clients who cancel within 24 hours or no-show may be required to pay a $35 deposit upfront to secure any future appointments. This deposit will go towards your appointment.

Please understand that $35 is a small fee and does not come close to covering the cost of an empty appointment, employee wages, rent, utilities and the other expenses involved in running a business. It is simply a small contribution towards the time and costs lost when an appointment is not attended.

You wouldn’t go to work and expect to not get paid for your time, the same applies to our business. When you book an appointment, you are reserving a specific time that could otherwise be offered to another client.

We completely understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances happen. Where possible, please contact us as soon as you know you cannot make your appointment.
