Covid-19 Salon Safe

Dear valued clients.

As of June 1st my business will be reopening after a nationwide lockdown on beauty services due to the global covid-19 pandemic.

During this time social distancing measures and increased safety protocols have been instrumental in protecting our health and safety.

As of June 1st these measures will be put into place.

- Clients will only be able to attend their appointment alone with strict patron limits enforced.
- Clients will be required to sign a register with their full name, email address and phone number.
- Stricter Hand Sanitizing and washing protocols will be put into place for all clients entering the premises.
- No phones, tablets or other devices may be used during your appointment.
- Cleaning after each client will take place before the next client will be permitted to enter the salon. Please wait outside until allowed to enter.
- Any client unable to comply will have their service cancelled.
- I have undertaken and passed the Covid-19 safety training as provided by the government.

Before entering the salon please answer the following,
- Have you or someone you’ve been in contact with tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 2 weeks?
- Have you, or anyone you’ve been in contact with, returned from international travel within the last two weeks?
- Do you show any flu-like symptoms such as ; coughing, sneezing, fever etc. ?
- Have you been tested recently for covid-19 and are awaiting results?

If you answer yes to any of these questions please cancel your appointment 48hrs before your booking to avoid potential cancellation fees.
You will be expected to sign in and agree that you answer no to ALL of the above questions or you will not be permitted entry into the salon.

During this time I ask that everyone show patience and consideration. We have lasted over 2 months with no nails so far and delaying your service a little longer in the interest of everyone’s safety will be easy to achieve. If your appointment needs to be rescheduled I will take the relevant precautions to ensure you’re booked in as soon as you are able to answer the above questions adequately.

7:30 pm tonight. Be there or be square! Alex will be taking over the Lish Nail Creations page to do a live salon style nail art tutorial and will be ready to answer your questions and talk about life as a nail tech in isolation! Set an alarm for 7:30pm AEST and grab a glass of 🍷

Dear clients. If you would like a removal kit for your nails please inbox me ASAP. I’ll be placing an order for removal kits and will come to the shop to arrange payment and pickup after they arrive.

Let me know by 4pm today and I’ll add yours to the list :)

Due to government shutdown my business will close as of midnight tonight. I appreciate everyone’s support. Obviously I will contact everyone when the situation changes. Until then please practice social distancing. Isolate as best you can and help halt the spread of this virus.

Help businesses like me get back on our feet by doing the right thing. It’s tough times for us all. My heart goes out to everyone in my industry and across the country who have lost their source of income and now face dire circumstances. And for gods sake 🧼

We have never in our lifetimes experienced something of this magnitude when it comes to a viral outbreak. It’s affecting the global community and we all have a responsibility to do the right thing.

In light of the news of imminent business closures for non essential services please be aware and understanding that I may need to close and reschedule everyone’s appointments.

In this time please understand that my priority with my business is to help my clients as best I can. As it always has been. If that means I have to close to maintain a healthy working environment for everyone I will do so.
