Like other cosmetic treatments, Skin Rejuvenation Peels, AKA chemical peels are not appropriate for everyone.
You might be a good candidate if you have:
✨generally healthy skin
✨mild scarring
✨superficial wrinkles
✨a lighter complexion
On the other hand, it’s best to avoid chemical peels if you:
✨have sagging skin
✨have deep wrinkles or scars
✨frequently develop cold sores
✨have a history of abnormal skin scarring
✨have psoriasis or atopic dermatitis
✨have a darker skin tone (higher risk of hyperpigmentation)
✨have recently taken an oral acne treatment
✨are pregnant or breastfeeding
✨have a compromised immune system
✨have undergone radiation therapy or recent surgery
✨have heart disease (if considering deep chemical peels)

“Pichardo-Geisinger, a professor of dermatology at Wake Forest Baptist Health, says a lot of people discount the need to protect vulnerable areas like the lips or eyelids when heading outside.
“I think people do not pay attention to these areas — ears, lips, eyelids — and there are not specific guidelines and education regarding the use of sunscreen on these forgotten areas,” she told Healthline.
“In general, we recommend that you apply sunscreen on all exposed areas.”

What is Collagen Induction Therapy?
✨Collagen Induction Therapy is also known as microneedling.
✨It is a cosmetic procedure that uses small, sterilised needles to prick the skin.
✨The purpose of this treatment is to generate new collagen and skin tissue to smooth, firm, and tone skin.
✨Microneedling is mostly used on the face and may reduce the appearance of acne, scars, dark spots, wrinkles, and large pores.
✨The procedure is minimally invasive, requiring little to no downtime.
✨It’s considered safe for most people who are in overall good health.
✨The procedure may not be safe for people who use certain acne medications, for those with active acne, or for those with moderate to severe psoriasis or eczema.
✨You can experience minor redness and irritation for a few days after the procedure.

HydraFacials are completed in three parts:
First, a vortex-like wand is used against the skin to help clear away dirt and oil from deep in your pores. A peel is also used to help exfoliate and resurface the skin.
Second, a vacuum-like attachment on the wand helps extract debris from your pores.
Third, a pen-like attachment is used to apply a moisturising serum with antioxidants.
