So here we are….where do I start?! It has been a little while since I've been “here” & that’s because at the moment I am filled with so many mixed emotions…

Since March 2016, this space has been more than just a business to me; it's been a community, full of heartfelt connections.
I still remember the humble early days, starting with just one day a week in a hair salon, juggling multiple jobs while trying to build my clientele (offering everything from waxing to massages, facials to manicures). Over time, Calm Waters grew, finding our own space , initially with the talented Madeline Kate Brows, where my love & passion for all things skin health really took off. Our next step was into a cosy spot out the back of my mother-in-law's travel business (where you will still find us today).
I have, & always will have a passion for health & well being, but as life would have it now, that passion & priority is with my role as “mum” & supporting my family . I can’t give Calm Waters the energy it deserves, so it’s for now it’s time to close this chapter.

I honestly don’t have the words to express how much each & every one of you who has walked through the doors of Calm Waters, means to me. Your support & trusting me with your skincare needs not only filled my cup but some weeks you honestly kept our doors open.

A special shoutout goes to my incredible team – Kat & Ash. They've been more than just colleagues; they've been pillars of support, pouring their hearts into their work without ever complaining.

To my husband, family & friends, thank you for standing by me through everything & for cheering me on every step of the way. To Robyn (MIL) for believing in me & sharing your space.

Don’t panic as Calm Waters' offerings will continue through Kat. She will be taking over, working from Main St as she finds her feet. It would mean so much to me if we could shower her with the same kindness & support you've shown me over the years.
