90min Yoga Immersion
Sunday 21st June | 2:30pm - 4pm
Followed by optional Solstice Swim

This month we will honour the return of the light through a special Winter Solstice practice.

You will be guided through:
🩵 Gentle yoga — no experience needed
🩵 A breathing practice that brings balance to your mind and body
🩵 Sun Salutation flow to bring balance to our lunar and solar energies
🩵 Long hold poses to bring focus, energy and open up different parts of the body
🩵 A guided heart led meditation
🩵 Space to get still, go inward, and hear yourself think

This is an intimate yoga class for local women who are seeking a yoga experience where you can really drop in.
This isn’t yoga for “exercise” sake. This is the type of yoga where you are guided through a full mind, body and spirit rejuvenation.

Following Yoga we will meet at Mt Martha Life Saving Club from 4:30pm for a Sunset Solstice swim

The swim will take place at roughly 4:45pm with last light around 5:10pm.

Jess Orr (from and experienced cold water swimmer 😉) will be guiding everyone through some techniques to feel the benefits of the cold water swim before we enter the water.

Pining for a bit of adventure today. Phone serving up mems of Lemnos in October last year. A side of Greece you don’t often get to see.

Life moves on so quickly. But every now and then one of the kids will bring up the sweetest memory of some innocuous day and I’m transported back.

I’m someone who is programmed for spontaneity and adventure. Sometimes mum life can put a dampener on that. The routines and predictability serve a purpose, however every now and then taking ourselves completely out of our comfort zone, into the unknown can be just the medicine we need, even if we don’t realize it at the time.

It’s funny how when something becomes routine or familiar we can lose that sense of awe and our brain stops registering the beauty in every day life.

This is your reminder that recognizing the beauty in life is a choice. There was a point in our trip where we were craving being back home in our own comforts. It’s crazy to think one could tire of the beauty in the small moments of these photos, and I was certainly mindful not to wish it away.

But yes the familiar can appear mundane or comforting depending on the lense you chose, just as the unknown can be viewed as an adventure or something to be feared. It’s a conscious choice we get to make. That is the beauty of our human brains, and free will.

So what will you choose today? I’m choosing adventure 🗺️
