When I was 11 my parents and their friends sat around the tv, excitedly ready to watch a brand new video tape that was just released.

This documentary style video was like nothing I’d ever watched before, but completely changed my view on the world.

It was called ‘The Secret’, and spoke all about The Law of Attraction. How our thoughts and feelings are energy and how that energy can influence our lives (good or bad).
Imagine as an 11 year old, listening to a bunch of successful and educated people tell you that you can influence outcomes in your life by simply believing it?

It formed a very strong part of the foundation within my own internal belief system, one that I’ve certainly challenged from time to time, especially in times of hardship or change.
