it’s the safest option for new piercings. externally threaded jewellery is as it sounds, the threading is on the outside and as the jewellery is inserted into the ear it creates friction, can irritate your piercing and interrupt healing. whereas internally threaded jewellery is completely smooth reducing the risk of damaging your skin as well as being more comfortable to wear.

internally threaded pieces are also much less likely to fall out due to the fact that they are screwed in to place vs push-back style jewellery.

q: why is 16 our age limit for piercings? 〰️

a: we have an age limit of 16 to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients. we want to be sure our client can give consent to the service, communicate their needs and fully understands the aftercare process. not only should our client understand their aftercare instructions but be able to follow through with them to get their piercing to a healed state.
