End of an era 😭

The salon will be completely shut as of Tuesday 17th December.
This past week has been so bittersweet, I'm so excited to have more time for my girls and even more excited to put my time into my next adventure.
I have truely only stayed hairdressing this long because of how much I love the connection I have with each and every client, I don't love doing hair anymore, but I am good at it.
I bloody love my clients though, I'm going to miss every single client, you all would probably know more about me than I would myself, please feel free to add me on socials, and message anytime you want to catch up for a coffee! I am going to miss talking s**t everyday. 😂🩷

Since I am closing my doors Jan 2025, I thought I'd share some salons I'd recommend.

Dear valued clientele and family
It is with a great sadness and appreciation that I have the ability to post this.
So you don't have to read a long post, I've decided to close my salon down as of Jan 2025.
If you want to stay for a long post..
After 6 of the greatest years of my life, and running a business that was incredibly successful for my growing family, the time has come for me to move on.
I'm so thankful for the support this business has given me to be basically a stay at home mum with my babies, but my passions lie somewhere else other than hair now. And I want to be put all my energy into being the best mumma to my girls and furthering my education.
My clientele was the reason I stayed in hairdressing so long, I love a chat and creating beautiful hair, I love a complicated creative adventure or just a good old catch up of your life.
I felt so invested in all my clients lives I've really avoided doing this for many years, but given recent family circumstances we have decided now is the time.
This brings me great sadness, as I'm so appreciative of all the support I've recieved over the years.

Born on Penelope’s birthday! So I well and truely worked up to giving birth 😂

It’s been a while since I have posted! Uni is over for the year! And I have a lot more availabilities for the next couple of months, before I am back at uni again.
I will be slowing down on my weekend work so I still have time with my family!
But Penelope is in care Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays so I am very open these days!

Also with Christmas 7ish weeks away I will be getting very busy! Care for Penelope closes Christmas till 10th Jan 2022 so please try get in before then 😊

Next year I will be making changes to the times and days I work, as we are struggling to fit in family time, but I am always flexible for my loyal clientele 🤍

You might notice this new guy when you come into the salon, he is similar to the old school hair dryers, but way more advanced! Helps distribute heat evenly over foils to help the process, and makes it a little bit quicker. It is allowed with the lightener I use in salon and suggested on certain hair types!
Also a great tool for treatments!!

✨Keratin Smoothing Treatment ✨

Informational post!
Keratin smoothing is something I absolutely love doing in salon, I would easily say it would be my favourite service to do, it is so rewarding!
This service can be performed on ALL types of hair and IS NOT a chemical straightening.
It does not make your hair dead straight, it is performed to relax the frizz which will in turn helps keep it straight.
It can be performed on blondes 100%, I’ve had it done on my hair when I was blonde.
This service can be performed on clients who have ringlet curls it will help the frizz that comes with curls! If the curls are strong they will stay aswell!

Every client of mine goes home with a complimentary shampoo, conditioner and a leave in.
I have some clients that come in every 12 weeks for this service and then I have some that come every 6 months to a year.
I particular get a lot of clients before summer. This is ideal for our climate! As we all know once you get your hair straight in summer all you have to do is walk out the door and you have frizz! This will STOP that!
I love it!
After losing hair from having my baby I had all my new regrowth standing up and curling, since having this treatment I don’t have to worry about that!

My prices start from $300 and will go up depending on length and thickness.
