Most brides have a makeup trial... or at least I thought they did! 🤭

After looking back through previous years, I realised that around 30% of my brides actually skip their trial. And honestly, there are a few good reasons why.

✨ Cost
Weddings come with a big price tag, and sometimes the budget needs to be allocated elsewhere. If you’re comfortable skipping a trial, that’s completely fine. I can always book a call to discuss your vision, preferences and all the important details.

✨ Time & Travel
Mudgee is a destination wedding location for many of my brides, and travelling back and forth while planning a wedding can be a lot. Some simply don’t have the time to fit in a trial and are happy to trust me to create their look on the day.

✨ Simple Makeup Goals
Brides wanting a natural, timeless look may feel a trial isn’t necessary, especially if they already know what they like.

✨ Experience with Professional Makeup
Some brides regularly have their makeup done and have a good understanding of what suits their features, skin type and personal style.

While makeup trials can be incredibly helpful for refining your look and making sure we’re completely aligned, they’re absolutely optional. Every bride is different, and not having a trial is a perfectly valid choice too 🫶🏻
