b Please don’t panic…but Christmas is sneaking up on us!

I’m not quite ready to think about the holiday season either—honestly, where has this year gone?! But there are only a few months left before I take my Christmas break, so it might be time to start locking in your appointments for the rest of the year.

My online bookings are currently open 12 weeks in advance, taking us through to the end of November. December appointments will be released within the next week or so.

If you already know the days and times that suit you, feel free to send me a message and I can lock in a few dates for you before the end-of-year rush begins.

It may feel far too early to be talking about Christmas…but future you will be very grateful that organised you booked ahead!

I would hate for you to miss out.

1% better every day.

I came across this while reading Atomic Habits for the 3rd time now and it really hits me between the eyes everytime.

We often expect progress to look big. We want the pain gone, the movement back, the stress to disappear, the body to feel “normal” again — preferably yesterday.
But sometimes progress is much quieter than that.
It might be sleeping a little better.
Moving with a little less discomfort.
Noticing you’re holding your shoulders up around your ears and actually letting them drop.

Taking ten minutes for yourself.
Drinking the water. Going for the walk. Booking the appointment. Resting when your body is asking you to rest.
None of those things seem particularly life-changing on their own.
But that’s the point.
Small things, done consistently, add up.

I see this in the treatment room all the time. Healing isn’t always one big “aha!” moment or one magical treatment. Sometimes it’s simply giving your body the right input, over and over again, and allowing it the time and space to respond.

I have my own expectations of myself. I am terrible for putting pressure on myself.
Especially, now, with my own experiences this year, I think I am learning to appreciate this more everyday.
You don’t have to be 100% better tomorrow.
Sometimes 1% is plenty.

A little something to complement your healing… or simply make you smile.

You may have noticed the little glass cabinet at The Old Mill is starting to fill up with some gorgeous goodies!
I have muscle balms, pain & stress sticks, magnesium sprays and salts and, of course, the little crochet positive affirmations that everyone seems to absolutely love.

There are all sorts of different little characters and themes, each with their own positive message. They make such a beautiful little gift for someone who might need a pick-me-up… or just something for yourself.
Pop one on your desk, beside your bed, in the car or even in the cab of the tractor — somewhere you'll see it and get that little smile or reminder that you’re doing okay and today can be a good day.

Sometimes healing and wellbeing isn't just about the big things.
Sometimes it's the muscle balm when you're aching. The magnesium spray at the end of a long day. A little reminder to slow down. Or a tiny crocheted friend sitting there telling you something you needed to hear.

Everything you see in the cabinet is available to purchase, so have a little browse next time you're in for your treatment.

And yes… you absolutely ARE allowed to buy yourself a present.

When I mention that CranioSacral Therapy is one of the modalities I offer, I’m usually met with a confused face followed by…

“What did you just say?” 😂

CranioSacral Therapy is actually practised all around the world, but it still tends to get pushed aside into the “woo woo” category.

And sure… Cranio can come with an element of “woo woo” — but really, it’s only as woo woo as you want it to be!

There is also a very real body and nervous system side to what we’re doing.

Think about what happens when you’re stressed or anxious.

Your shoulders start creeping towards your ears. Your neck tightens. You might clench your jaw or start developing headaches.

That stress might be coming from your job, your family, something happening in your life, or something completely outside of your control.

We can absolutely address the physical tightness with massage — and you all know I love doing that! 😂

But with Cranio, we’re looking at things a little differently.

Instead of only focusing on where you’re feeling the tension, CranioSacral Therapy uses very gentle touch and works with the nervous system and the body as a whole. It can give your body the space to settle, process and become more aware of the patterns it may be holding onto — including how it responds when similar stressful situations come up again.

And here’s the thing…

If all you get out of your Cranio session is an hour of pure relaxation, when your body hasn’t experienced that kind of stillness in a very long time — I’ve done my job.

If you walk out a little confused, wondering “What the hell just happened?” 😂 and suddenly asking questions about what’s actually going on in your body — I’ve done my job.

If you walk out feeling like you’re floating, calm and completely at ease — I’ve done my job.

Because there really isn’t one particular way you’re supposed to experience Cranio.

For me, a huge part of it is simply helping you become more aware of your body, your nervous system and what they might be trying to tell you.

Some sessions are deeply relaxing.

Some make you curious.

Some can bring things to your attention that you hadn’t even realised you were holding onto.

And sometimes you just lie there thinking, “Felicity has barely touched me for an hour and somehow I feel amazing.” 😂

It really is a wonderful modality, and one that I absolutely love offering.

So whether you think CranioSacral Therapy sounds fascinating, scientific, a little bit woo woo, or you still have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about…

I encourage you to try it at least once.

Woo woo or not. 😉

Hi team! 💚

I’ve been working on an online purchasing system for Gift Vouchers, making it a little easier and more convenient for you to purchase a gift for someone special.

You can now purchase Gift Vouchers directly through my website and have them conveniently delivered digitally.

Please bear with me as I navigate the world of technology 😂 I’m definitely not a tech person, so I’m putting a lot of trust in the system and hoping everything works as it should!

Of course, Gift Vouchers are still available to purchase directly from the clinic for anyone who prefers to do it that way.

Thank you for your patience while I get this new little system up and running! 💚

Hi Invision Team,

I hope you're all settling in for the evening.
I've just been made aware that my booking system, Cliniko, is currently experiencing a worldwide outage. I've been assured that this is not a security breach or hack, and that all client data is safe and secure.

Unfortunately, it does mean I currently have no access to my appointment diary, and you won't be able to make bookings online until the issue is resolved.

The Cliniko team is working to restore the service as quickly as possible. I'll let you know as soon as I'm updated, and I'll keep you informed once everything is back up and running.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. 💛

Well... I'm back! 💛

Firstly, thank you for your patience while I was on leave and overseas. I'm slowly making my way through messages and returning everyone's enquiries. If I haven't replied to you yet, or I've accidentally missed your message, I sincerely apologise. Please don't hesitate to send me another message.

I've had a look through the diary, and it seems I'm booked out for the next few weeks. But don't despair! If you're hoping to get in sooner rather than later, I'm more than happy to add you to my cancellation list and do my best to find you an appointment.

Our trip was a long time coming. It was something Keith and I had dreamed about for many years.

I've always felt a special connection with Japan. Ever since I was a little girl, my mum instilled in me a love and appreciation for the country, its culture and its people. There is something incredibly beautiful about a place where respect, kindness and tradition are so deeply woven into everyday life, while also being one of the world's leaders in technology and innovation. The pride they take in themselves, their communities and their environment is something I truly admire.

Yes, Japan is busy and vibrant, but it also has this incredible sense of tranquillity.

One moment that will stay with me forever was when Keith and I walked up a mountain to visit a temple. There was complete silence. No talking. No shoes scuffing along the ground. Just stillness.
For what felt like the first time in a very long time, our minds stopped racing. There was no overthinking, no constant mental load. Just peace.
It wasn't the only place we experienced that feeling throughout Japan, but it was certainly one I'll never forget.

When I think back to where I was just over eight weeks ago—being in and out of hospital and unable to walk—to then walking up a mountain in Japan... it's honestly hard to put into words.
At one stage, we genuinely didn't think this trip was going to happen.
I followed the advice of my doctor, physiotherapist and massage therapist. Did I overdo it at times? Absolutely! Most of you know me well enough to know I like to push the limits. Sometimes that works in my favour... sometimes it doesn't. I definitely didn't come home completely unscathed, but my body did far better than I ever expected. I also had a husband who knew exactly when it was time to call it a day and kept me in check when I needed it most.

I want to say a heartfelt thank you to the people who helped get me there.
To Tom from Murray Motion Physiotherapy—you may be hard to get an appointment with, but there's a very good reason for that. You're bloody brilliant.
To Ben from BFlexin Remedial Massage—having someone who had been through almost the exact same injury less than a year before me meant more than you probably realise. Thank you for your support, encouragement and understanding.
To my husband Keith, my kids, my dad, my sister, my extended family, my friends and my wonderful clients—thank you for checking in on me, keeping me accountable and reminding me to look after myself.
I'm so grateful.
Now it's time to get back into the clinic, doing what I love. I can't wait to see you all again. ❤️

Injury Update & Leave Update
I will be on leave from 15th June to 6th July 2026.

Physiotherapy started this week, which has stirred things up a bit. It's completely normal, but still annoying!

Today also marked another milestone—my grandson ate his first oyster. Not bad for a one-and-a-half-year-old! This kid is going to have expensive taste. He loves just about every food put in front of him, and it's hard to find something he doesn't like. Sorry Mum and Dad, I think the hip pocket is going to take a bit of a hit over the years!

I'm looking forward to having a break. I will miss you all, of course, but this has been a long time coming. Unfortunately, it's not the break I originally wanted, but it is the break I need.

Thank you all for your support, patience, and understanding during this recovery. I look forward to seeing you all again soon.
