Hey fam,

This is just a gentle reminder, I know many of you are doing it tough right now but help is available.
I have such generous clients who have been quietly donating to the 'pay it forward' fund and I have some free haircuts available to anyone who needs it.
The is no shame or judgement in asking, I know what it’s like to struggle and I just want to help where I can.

To enquire all you need to do is ask when making a booking.
(I never turn anyone away but it just depends on booking availability)
I also welcome family booking enquiries too should those be needed.

Also for anyone wishing to donate just let me know via text and I can forward details on how to donate or let me know when you pay for your haircut and we can add an extra donation to your bill if you are able.

It’s been ages since I posted a transformation but when my client came in saying she wanted something totally different this was the exact image that popped into my head!

I always find it super interesting how artists can see an image in their minds and then put it on paper … when I think about it though that’s exactly what I do, but with hair.

I’ve got a few new people on my socials lately so I thought it was time to re introduce myself!
I’m Em, I’m the face behind Chop Shop on Doecke.
I’ve been in the industry since I was 16… and next year I turn 40… (yeah you do the maths!) I did take a break in there somewhere to work with kids too in a local childcare centre.
I love kids but for myself and my wife Kel we have dogs, the other members of staff in fact.
Frankie and Poppy, you’ll meet them when you come for your next haircut.
