It was one of those moments where time does that quiet little loop…

When i received these photos of Nika… ( my friend’s ) daughter… I just sat there for a second thinking, “how are we here already?”

Because not that long ago, her mum and I were the ones getting ready together with the music blasting, drinks flowing, getting our faces on and laughing and dancing the night away.
And now… it’s our kids turn!

I’ll be honest, there was a small part of me that wished I could be there on the day. Some bookings just carry that little more meaning and this one was one of them.

But at the same time, I didn’t hesitate.

18 years of doing weddings and the buzz I get on the wedding morning when surrounded by my beautiful clients still feels like waking up on Christmas morning. There’s magic, anticipation, love & excitement in the air and I just can’t wait until each gorgeous girl gets a glimpse at themselves in the mirror.

This magic right here (with Jamie, Kristy, Janeva, Kimberly & Nicole) is why I am still in business after 18 years, 3 kids later, health battles and everything in between, doing what i love most; helping women feel confident and beautiful .

So thank you to all my beautiful brides who voted for my team and I towards taking out again the title of South Australia’s Makeup Artist of the Year for 2024. It’s because of you that I get to live life on my terms, surrounded by inspiring women from all walk of life- truly my favourite part of what I do.

With my recent health battles with my eye that led me to almost becoming blind, I’ve had to pull back on the number of weddings I take on each year, so I’m not expecting us to win at the awards, but to be honest, I already feel like a winner having the most talented and beautiful team and clients like you.
