The choice we have: how we think of and respond to it
If you view suffering as something bad happening TO you, it’s not going to be a good time and nothing beneficial comes from it....but. If you view suffering as something happening FOR you, it’s a game changer. Suffering then becomes an opportunity for growth. A chance to improve yourself. An opportunity to be grateful for all the time you aren’t suffering
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t wish suffering on anyone and often struggle to take the second mindset in my own life, but it’s getting easier everytime I put the mental effort into shifting perspective
Reframe suffering as growth and you never have to be afraid of it....you might even start to look forward to it (...and do strange things like sit in a freezer chest filled with water because it hardens your mind)

Want to be a nicer human? Act like a nice person. Be accepting, understanding, patient and kind to everyone you come across
Your actions speak to the type of person you are and the person you want to be. You decide how you act. Start becoming a healthier, nicer person today by moving a bit more and being nicer in a single interaction. Small steps create massive changes
