After 46 years behind the chair, it’s finally time for me to hang up the scissors ✂️💛

What a ride it’s been. I started my hairdressing journey in New Zealand with Adele Wilkins as my very first boss (thank you for setting me on this path!), then crossed the ditch to Australia where I worked my way through Queensland and South Australia and somehow blinked and here we are, 46 years later.

To my incredible clients: thank you. Truly. I’ve been lucky enough to look after generations of you; parents, children, grandchildren, and to be part of so many special moments. From engagements and weddings to first haircuts, big changes, little trims, and then doing your children’s children’s hair, it’s been an absolute privilege.

Along the way, there’s been a lot of laughter, a lot of chats, some big life moments shared in the salon chair, and friendships that mean the world to me. You’ve trusted me not just with your hair, but with your stories and I’ll forever be grateful for that.

Now I’m ready for the next chapter, one with fewer foils, no late nights, and plenty of time to enjoy what’s ahead (and maybe a champagne or two 🥂).

Thank you for the memories, the loyalty, the laughs and the love over the years. I couldn’t have asked for a better career or better people to share it with. 💇‍♀️✨
