A Little Ray of SON shine made a grand entrance at 37 weeks ☀️

Today was my due date, for the last few weeks I've been in a oxytocin bubble..

Our little Jellybean is a B O Y 💙

Introducing "Zaiyden Levi"

Meaning: Strong, intelligent, unique, leader & warrior. Growth; Increasing; Gods chosen child, born of fire 🔥 and that he was! Arriving in a 4.5 hour active labour. He was ready to come earth side. 🙌🏼

Born by Physiological planned Home Birth on 13th July 2025. Weighed 3.05kg

We are so in love & smitten. Loving every minute of Maternity leave so far with our Gorgeous Son 🥰

The time has come. After almost 20 years of working full time Hairdressing, 38+ hour weeks & 13 years of that as a sole trader Business, it's time to put my tools aside & enjoy becoming a Mumma Bear on Maternity leave. 🤰🏽🩷 👶🏻 💙 🙌🏼

Thank you to all my amazing clients for all your loyalty over the years. Many of you, I've literally known my whole hairdressing career. You've become more than just clients. I love the friendships we share & our hair catch up & chats. I'm so blessed for all the support as I embark on the next chapter of my life. It's not goodbye for ever, tho the tears shed felt like it. I've put my heart & soul into building my business & absolutely love what I do. Thank you for the support & understanding on letting me enjoy becoming a Mum. I will be closed for twelve months of maternity leave to enjoy my little Jellybean. Once my books are open I'll be back in contact.

34 weeks + 5 days today & probably lucky i'm finishing up as I don't know how much longer I would fit behind the hair basin for 🤭 😅

Today Hair by Kya Celebrates 13 years in Business & 10 Years in my own Business Premises. 💇🏼‍♀️ 🏡 🥳

Thirteen years has seriously flown by! Today I reflect on the amazing journey I've had in Business growth & milestones achieved in this time. I couldn't of done it without the loyalty of my amazing clients keeping me in business with doing what I love. I am so grateful to each & everyone of my clients. Showing up for "work" every day doesn't feel like a chore when you love what you do & enjoy the chats and the company of the faces you see. My professional journey of hairdressing is hitting the milestone of 20 years this year. And oh boy it doesn't feel like that long! I've got just 4 days left in salon until I take some time off for maternity leave. I can't wait for my next adventure in becoming a Mum. I definitely will be back and appreciate all the love, care and support I've had from all my clients.

So thank you, thank you, thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I truly am so grateful for all my wonderful clients. Celebrating 13 years in Business and for lots of you 18+ years of making you feel amazing with Beautiful hair. 🥰

This Mother's day had a whole new meaning for me knowing I'm shortly approaching becoming a a Mum myself. Jellybean is 28 weeks today! Growing strong & time is sure flying by!
