Emergence Aesthetics
Emergence Aesthetics Now Open

As part of Acne Awareness Month, we’re highlighting treatment options that may be considered for acne-prone, congested or textured skin.
At Emergence Clinical Aesthetics, Kale Peel and Pumpkin Peel are vegetable-based enzymatic peels that may support controlled exfoliation and assist with skin concerns such as congestion, build-up and uneven texture.
For acne-prone skin, the goal is not to strip or over-treat the skin. The right approach depends on your skin type, barrier function, sensitivity, current breakouts and treatment history.
Trudy and Chloe will assess your skin before recommending any peel, as some skin types or active inflammatory breakouts may require a different approach first.
If your skin feels congested, reactive or difficult to manage, a consultation is the best place to start.

June is Acne Awareness Month — a timely reminder that acne is not simply a teenage concern, and it is not caused by poor hygiene.
Acne can affect people at many stages of life, including adulthood, and may be influenced by hormones, inflammation, barrier disruption, product use, stress, lifestyle factors and skin type.
At Emergence Clinical Aesthetics, Trudy and Chloe take a clinical, personalised approach to acne-prone skin. A consultation allows us to assess your skin, discuss possible contributing factors, review your current routine, and guide you toward appropriate treatment and home care options.
If your skin feels congested, inflamed, reactive, or difficult to manage, you do not need to keep guessing.
Book a skin consultation and let’s start with understanding what your skin needs.

A reminder we heard repeatedly throughout the Australasian Skin Cancer Congress: early detection matters.
Getting familiar with your skin and monitoring for changes can play an important role in identifying concerns earlier.
If you notice a spot changing in size, shape, colour, or behaviour, it’s important to have it professionally assessed. Skin Cancer Nurse Chloe is here to help support you with professional skin assessments and skin health guidance. 🤍

Some of the statistics shared at the Australasian Skin Cancer Congress were a powerful reminder of why regular skin checks and early detection remain so important in Australia.
Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting Australians, and early recognition continues to play an important role in improving outcomes.
If you’ve been putting off a skin check, this is your reminder to prioritise your skin health. 🤍

A few moments from our time at the Australasian Skin Cancer Congress in Brisbane 🤍
Continuing education is an important part of providing evidence-based, up-to-date care in clinic. It was a valuable few days spent learning from leading professionals, exploring new technologies and treatment approaches, and expanding our knowledge in skin health and skin cancer medicine.
We’re excited to bring new insights, products, and treatment options back to Emergence Clinical Aesthetics. Stay tuned.
PRP uses your body’s own platelet-rich plasma to support skin repair processes and collagen production. Combined with micro-needling and targeted application techniques, this treatment approach may assist with improving skin texture, uneven tone, fine lines, and the appearance of enlarged pores.
Because PRP uses your own plasma, it offers a personalised approach without the use of added synthetic substances.
Treatment areas may include the face, under-eye area, neck, scalp, and hands following clinical assessment.
For best results, a treatment series may be recommended depending on individual skin presentation and goals.
Book a consultation with Nurses Trudy and Chloe to discuss whether PRP may be suitable for your skin concerns.

As skin changes over time, natural ceramide levels can decline, which may contribute to dryness, dehydration, and reduced barrier function.
Dermal Delivery by Dermaenergy combines ceramides, peptides, skin-mimicking oils, and hydration-supporting ingredients designed to work alongside the skin barrier and support moisture retention.
Unlike heavier oils that remain mainly on the surface, this formulation is designed to assist with the delivery of water-based actives while helping maintain skin comfort and hydration balance.
Key ingredients include:
• Ceramide NP
• Squalane
• Jojoba Oil
• Argan Oil
• Peptides
• Vitamin E
Suitable skincare recommendations should always consider individual skin type, barrier condition, and treatment goals.
