Using the fade off to our advantage!

Our client had a scalp bleach at her last visit, so naturally, on freshly lightened hair, she did experience more fading this time around. BUT… check out how clean of a canvas we had on those ends! So, we use them to our advantage, and add a pop of blue this time around. Great work by Senior Stylist Sienna 🎨✨

A little look into what Sienna got up to last week in the Goldwell Academy! She has now completed the second stretch of the Master Colorist program, and is off to the third and final stretch in September to be a Goldwell Certified Master Colorist! As many of you know- we LOVE our education at Wow, and we can’t wait for Sienna to take this next step in her colouring work!

Did you know that on the right candidate, you can perm over naturally curly hair to give a more balanced result? Our guest came in feeling like his top layers were more wavy, compared to lower areas where he had tight curls. Senior Stylist and Perm Specialist Allison helped him leave feeling much more balanced in his curl pattern! 👏💜

This week I celebrate 40 years as a hairdresser.

Forty years ago, I picked up a pair of scissors and found a passion that has never left me. I still wake up excited to do what I love.

This journey has given me so much more than a career. It’s given me lifelong friendships, incredible opportunities, unforgettable experiences, and the privilege of helping people feel their best.

To my beautiful clients—especially those who have trusted me for decades and still travel to my chair—thank you. Your loyalty and friendship have meant more than you’ll ever know.

I’ve been fortunate to own salons, mentor apprentices, win awards, travel the world learning my craft, and give back through Hair Aid. Every step has shaped who I am today.

Forty years is more than a milestone—it’s a reminder that when you love what you do, it never really feels like work. I’m incredibly grateful for this journey and for everyone who has been part of it. Here’s to the next chapter. ❤️✂️
