It’s not too late to want something different for your life. šŸ’›

I think somewhere along the way, a lot of us hit our 40s and start thinking…

Well, this is what I do.
This is the career I chose.
I’ve spent years getting here.
Maybe I should just stick with it.

But why?

Turning 40 doesn’t mean we suddenly have to stop being curious about what else might be possible. šŸ˜‚

If anything, I think we know ourselves better now.

We know what matters.
We know what we don’t want.
We’ve got life experience behind us.

And we’re probably a little less worried about doing what everyone else thinks we should be doing.

I started exploring online business in my 40s.
Not because I hated my life or wanted to throw everything away and start again.

I'm a busy mum, working, raising kids and doing all the usual life stuff.

I just started wondering…

Could I create more choices within the life I already have?

Another income stream.
More flexibility.
The possibility of working fewer days eventually.

More time for my family and the things that matter.

And I’m still figuring it out as I go.

So if you’ve been thinking you’re ā€œtoo oldā€ to learn something new, change direction or simply explore another option…

You’re not. šŸ’›
Yes, you can bloom where you’re planted…
but you’re also not a tree. šŸ˜‚
You’re allowed to move and want more.

I didn’t have a big plan.

I just knew I wanted something to change.

Life is busy. Life is expensive. And I started wondering if there was another way to create more choices for our family.

So I got curious.

I registered for an information session… and that’s where it started. šŸ’›

If you’re having the same thoughts — something needs to change, I just don’t know what yet! — comment INFO and I’ll send you the details.

No pressure. Just information.

love my life. šŸ’›

I’m not trying to escape it or completely change everything.

I just want more choices within it.

Because let’s face it… life isn’t exactly getting cheaper. šŸ˜‚

Groceries, bills, kids, sport, weekends away — it all adds up.

And for me, building another income stream isn’t just about earning more money.

It’s about options.

The option to eventually work fewer days.
To say yes a little more often.
To take a long weekend.
To have a bit more breathing room when life gets expensive.

I’m still working. Still parenting. Still doing all the normal busy-life stuff.

I’m just building something alongside it that could give us more choices down the track.
And honestly… that’s enough of a reason for me. šŸ’›

Waiting for life to settle down… I think a lot of us can relate to that.

There’s always something, isn’t there?
Work. Family. Kids. Commitments. Life. šŸ˜‚
This is one of the things I loved about her story.

She kept thinking she’d become more consistent when things calmed down.

But eventually realised… life probably wasn’t going to magically calm down.

Thinking about her new grandbaby and future grandkids made her look at things differently.

She didn’t want to keep putting off something she was building for her future.

And I think that’s such a good reminder.

You don’t necessarily need the perfect time.
Sometimes you just need to decide something matters enough to make room for it. šŸ’›

Anyone else guilty of waiting for life to settle down? šŸ™‹ā€ā™€ļø

So… what do I actually DO in my online business?

I get asked this, and it’s a fair question because saying ā€œI have an online businessā€ doesn’t really explain much.

For me, it actually started pretty simply.

I watched a free information session.
That was my first look at the business model, how it worked and what people were actually doing online.

I didn’t know how to market online.

I didn’t know how to create content.

I’d never run an ad.

And I definitely didn’t understand funnels, automation or any of the techy stuff. šŸ˜‚
I learned it.

Now, my role is to create content, learn how to market online, run advertising and connect with people who are already curious about creating another income stream.

When someone wants to know more, I point them towards the same information session I started with so they can actually see what it is for themselves.

Then I follow up, answer questions and keep learning and improving with the training, coaching and mentorship I have around me.

There are systems and automation working behind the scenes too — but that doesn't mean I sit back and do nothing.

It's a real business. I still have to show up and do the work.

The difference is, I didn't have to know how to do all of this before I started.

I learned as I went.

And it all started with simply watching the information. šŸ’›

Curious? You can start with the same free info session I did. No pressure — just information.

Nothing magical. Just skills I’ve learned along the way — and I’m still learning now. šŸ’›

A few days away, very little reception, kids in the water, sunshine and absolutely no need to know what time it was.

Sometimes getting away from the normal routine is exactly what you need.

Back home now, feeling refreshed… although I’m not sure I’m quite ready for reality yet.

These are the bits of life I never want to rush through. šŸ’›

This one got me.

Because sometimes it’s not about wanting a completely different life.

Sometimes you actually really like the life you have… you can just see how it could have a little more breathing room in it.

More choice. More flexibility. Maybe another income stream. More time for the things that matter.

And if you keep coming back to the same thought… maybe it’s worth paying attention to it. šŸ’›

That’s pretty much how this whole online business journey started for me.Maybe the things we keep thinking about are worth paying attention to. šŸ’›
