Patchy brows can change the whole face.
For this client, I completely redesigned the shape to create brows that look fuller, more defined, like soft makeup — but still so natural that no one can tell it’s tattooed.
Healed results always matter most
Brow design is everything.
Eyebrow tattoo is not just tattooing.
This technique is completely different from traditional body tattoo.
There is no stencil that you can simply print and place on every client.
There is no one brow shape that suits every face.
Every eyebrow should be freestyle designed based on your client’s facial features, bone structure, eye shape, and natural brow flow.
Please don’t rely on using the same shape for almost every client.
Learn how to properly design the best brow shape that truly suits each individual face.
In this industry, mistakes matter.
The first thing people notice on the face is the eyes and the eyebrows.
Your work represents your client every single day, so proper design and facial analysis are everything.
Stop guessing and start learning how to map and design with purpose.
Feather brows for oily skin ✨
Choosing the right technique is so important for long-term healed results.
This set was designed using a gentle machine technique to create soft, natural hair strokes that blend beautifully with the client’s own brow hair.
For students: Always assess the skin first before choosing your technique. Oily skin needs the right approach for better healed results.

Most artists get scar lips wrong.
This client has very little natural lip colour,
and visible scar tissue from a previous lip piercing.
In real life, the scar is even more noticeable than on camera.
Scar tissue doesn’t behave like normal lip skin.
It may not hold pigment well, or it can heal into unexpected tones.
👉 That’s where most artists make mistakes.
She didn’t want anything bright or bold.
She wanted something soft, n**e, and natural — just to even out her lips.
And here’s the reality:
I can’t erase it… but I can blend it.
So instead of trying to cover it,
I worked with her lip — not against it.
✔️ Careful colour selection
✔️ Controlled technique
✔️ Understanding how scar tissue heals
Result: soft, balanced lips that still look like her.
And most importantly — she loves her lips again.
📚If your training didn’t teach you how to work with scar tissue, that’s where you need to improve.
Real results come from understanding skin — not just following steps.

She hated her eyeliner every time that she looked in the mirror …
Old eyeliner doesn’t always need removal — but it does need the right strategy.
Most people think correction is just “covering” the old tattoo.
It’s not.
It’s about understanding how the pigment sits in the skin, how the old design affects the eye shape, and how to redesign it properly.
A small change in flow, balance, and placement can completely transform the result.
This case took 2 hours to correct — with a softer, more feminine finish and a design that actually enhances her eyes.
Correction work is where real skill shows — not all artists can do this properly.

I don’t see cosmetic tattooing as just a tattoo.
It is very different from traditional tattooing.
In cosmetic tattooing, there is no stencil and nothing you can print online and stick on the eyebrow. Every brow is designed freehand.
For me, this is an art, and the client’s face is the artwork.
When you design an eyebrow, you are not just drawing a shape. You must create balance — between the brows, the bone structure, facial features, and natural expression.
When balance is right, the brow has flow.
And flow is what makes cosmetic tattoo look natural.
Before you touch the skin, stop and study the face.
Design with your eyes first.
Create balance — the flow will follow.

Lip tattooing looks simple… until you understand the skin.

Feather brow Tattoo : Freshly done vs Healed.
Correct depth, minimal trauma, clean healed strokes — this is what matters. Why? 👉Read the comment
Healed results matter the MOST — here’s why…
Fresh brows impress.
Healed brows PROVE your skill.
Softer. Cleaner. More natural.
That’s what clients judge you on — not the fresh work.
As a cosmetic tattooist, if your healed results aren’t consistent yet…
If your strokes blur, spread, or fade too soft…
It’s not your fault. You just haven’t learned the right technique.

Not all dark lips need neutralisation…
The key is understanding colour theory and knowing how to assess how dark the lip actually is.
This lip is considered dark, but not too dark — so we went straight to a custom-mixed target shade that softly balanced her natural dark tone and matched the colour she wanted.
If you’re unsure about pigment choices for dark lips, send me a photo of the lips and your pigment range — I’m happy to help. And if you want to learn dark-lip neutralisation more deeply, join my PMU Precise Lip Tattoo Training.
