This one absolutely has to be on my list of keepers - the Certina Chronolympic Regatta. Chunky, oversized, colourful and totally funky - Certina calibre 29-064 (base calibre Valjoux 728). Vintage yachting watches are on a level of their own.

Seventies Seiko designers were absolute masters of combining colours that shouldn't have worked together and making them work. A bit of 70's funk for today's because life should be colourful.

A recently acquired King Seiko that I'd wanted for quite some time, now on an original bracelet, with thanks to Rob. Scubarob99 on the forums I had already started looking for the original, then Rob reached out after I initially posted this watch, letting me know that he had one, and the rest is history. I do love this IG watch community - thanks Rob for making it so easy. Very much appreciated πŸ™πŸ»

From 1963, an early Seikomatic SilverWave 'dive' watch. Personally, if I'm going into the water, I like my dive watches to be rated to a bit more than 50m, but I'm loving this one anyway 🀿🌊

Happy - the honeymoon is going to be very, very long with this one. Seiko have always done the best (imo) blue dials, but they've excelled themselves with the JAMSTEC MarineMaster 🧊 🌊
