✨OFFICIALLY A QUALIFIED HAIRSTYLIST✨

After 4 years completing my apprenticeship & 1 entire year beforehand experiencing different hairdressing schools & workplaces, I can FINALLY & very PROUDLY say that I’m officially a QUALIFIED hairstylist. 🥹✂️

This journey has allowed me to LEARN so many different TECHNIQUES & STYLES, eventually helping me DEVELOP an approach that feels completely MY OWN.
It has certainly been a rollercoaster, but I wouldn’t change the experience for the world.
Every CHALLENGE & LESSON has shaped both the hair stylist & the person I am today.

Hi, I’m Tori!

I’m a 23-year-old third-year apprentice hairdresser at Hair by Janine & Co in Newcomb, Geelong.

Originally born in Liverpool, Sydney, I spent most of my childhood growing up in Point Cook before settling in Hoppers Crossing — west of Melbourne.
My favourite colour is sapphire blue—my birthstone—which has always felt like the perfect reflection of who I am: calm, classic & full of depth.

After finishing school in 2018, I completed my Certificate IV and Diploma in Beauty Therapy and have spent the last 8 years continuing my education.
I’m incredibly proud to be a university graduate, and I’ll officially qualify as a hairdresser in the next coming month.

For me, hairdressing is about so much more than great hair.
It’s about building genuine connections, boosting confidence, expressing creativity, and helping every client feel comfortable, valued, and beautiful.

Outside the salon, you’ll usually find me:
- at Pilates
- spending time with my beautiful dog, Blu (caboodle)
- travelling
- exploring new places
- attending techno events
- in front of a camera
- supporting my friends’ music careers
- or enjoying all things makeup, fashion, jewellery, art, and creativity.

I live by two simple beliefs:

“Celebrate your efforts, not just your achievements.”

“Go where you are celebrated, not where you’re tolerated.”

These values shape the way I approach both life and my career, and they’re exactly how I hope every client feels when they sit in my chair.

One of my favourite things about Hair by Janine & Co is that it feels like family.
We genuinely support one another and love making every client feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door.

This year has been more than just hair — it’s been about growth.
I’ve sharpened my skills behind the chair, mastered new techniques, and learned how to truly listen to what each client wants (and needs).

From precision cuts to dream colour transformations, I’ve poured my heart into every appointment.
But I’ve also grown so much as a person — more confident, more patient, and more passionate than ever about this craft.
