There’s something powerful about women coming together not just to network, but to share, learn, support and genuinely champion one another.

Such a beautiful afternoon under the Sydney Harbour Bridge, surrounded by like minded women, good food, beauty, conversations and a little bit of Cactus. 🌵

I had the opportunity to share my journey with Cactus Skincare, talk about what I’ve learned building the brand, and of course geek out over skincare and the science behind healthy skin.

But my favourite part was the connection.

Building a business can sometimes feel incredibly isolating. Events like this remind me how important it is to create spaces where women can meet, exchange ideas, open doors for each other and celebrate each other’s wins.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned from years of obsessing over skincare and formulation?

More isn’t always better.

Constantly switching products, adding stronger actives and chasing overnight results can make it incredibly difficult to understand what your skin actually responds well to.

I’m a much bigger believer in a well-designed routine you can actually stick to.

Fewer steps.
Multifunctional formulas.
Barrier support.
Targeted actives.
And enough consistency to actually give them time to work.

That philosophy is a huge part of how I’m building Cactus Skincare.
