What is a stickie? You have probably heard me discuss this 100s of times, but I’m here to explain it.

A stickie is a common occurrence in lashing. It is where one lash sticks to the other. Now, it can be easily fixed there and then. HOWEVER, if it isn’t fixed, when you return to your lash tech for your refill, often times the natural lash it’s stuck to has pulled the lash out. Now, our lashes are supposed to fall out, yes, but on their own, they should never be ripped or pulled out. If this becomes a regular occurrence, stickies can cause the hair follicle to experience trauma and can cause the hair to never grow back.

At the end of EVERY appointment, I go through meticulously to ensure you leave stickie free. If you’re ever feeling any pulling, or something doesn’t feel right, 9 times out of 10, it’s a stickie. Make sure your lash tech is checking your lashes before you leave your appointment every time to ensure optimal lash health.
