6 Steps to Prepare for Your Consultation!
Preparing for your appointment helps ensure your consultation can proceed safely and allows our team to assess your suitability for treatment.
1. Safely Vaccinated
Please ensure you have not received, or are not planning to receive, a vaccination within two weeks before or after your consultation.
2. Not Currently Taking Antibiotics
If you are currently taking antibiotics, or have recently completed a course, please allow a minimum of two weeks before attending your consultation.
3. Schedule Your Appointment Thoughtfully
Some treatments may involve downtime or temporary side effects. Consider any upcoming social events, commitments or special occasions when booking your appointment and allow yourself time before and after your consultation.
4. Complete Your Forms
Please complete all required forms before your appointment. This information assists our clinical team in understanding your medical history and ensures you have received important information relating to your consultation.
5. Avoid Alcohol and Smoking
Limit alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment and minimise smoking before and after your consultation, as these factors may influence your recovery.
6. Stay Hydrated
Aim to drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment and remain well hydrated on the day of your consultation.

The Month That Was June ⋆˚࿔
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is the process in which a small sample of blood is collected and centrifugal force is used to extract the body's own platelet rich plasma. Which is then infused back into treatable areas. Common PRP areas include the hairline, scalp, face, neck and areas where scarring is present.
Please acknowledge that PRP is a medical procedure performed by our Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioner at our Geelong clinic. Due to the nature of this procedure, a clinical consultation is required to determine if PRP is appropriate for you.
