Its been a while!!
I had it in my head that because i shaved my dreads off, i shouldnt be "dreading" for clients. (Ive had 2 sets of dreads over 15 yrs).

Just a friendly reminder that before your maintenance session, your dreadlocks must be clean and dry. This helps the locking process and lets face it, no one likes stinky dreads!

Thought I would share the two products i use on my dreads.

*Tea tree shampoo

Pros: cheap ($5/bottle), lasts forever, your partner doesnt touch it (🤣), only need between a 20-50c size (i do double wash). Smells fresh

Cons: doesnt foam like other dread shampoos, can dry your scalp if too much is used.

*Charcoal shampoo

Pros: cheap ($5/bottle), gets rid of dry flaky scalp, i typically use a smaller amount omce or twice.

Cons: Stinks! But, it works so i go with it
