The devine Bronte ✨for her year 12 formal this afternoon.
I had the pleasure of looking after Bronte for her year 10 formal a couple of years ago, and was delighted to be able to do her makeup for her senior formal this year.
What a beautiful blessing it is to be able to do something I love and meet lovely people 🌸

Always love a splash of colour 💕
Adding a pop of colour as an inner corner ‘highlight’ is a really fun way to change up your smokey eye, or as an extra accessory for a simple outfit.
Start small, and with a lighter version of the colour you’d like to use if you’re worried or struggling to commit. Or just commit. Whatever. It’s just makeup, you can always wash it off ☺️
Hot pink is definitely a vibe!

That makeup can appear to look different, depending on what you’re wearing?
Check out the two pictures here. These were taken seconds apart. The makeup appears to not stand out in one, the pic with the bright robe on, but appears ‘brighter’ and possibly even ‘fresher’ in the second picture?
The makeup in fact hasn’t changed, but the outfit has.
This is definitely something that a great makeup artist will take into consideration in your makeup consultation 😜

Make sure you’re wearing a shirt/top/robe or outfit in a similar colour to the outfit you’re wearing that day, so you can get an idea of how the makeup will look with your outfit if you’re not putting it on straight away.
(This lovely lady was wearing a pale pink satin dress, and the makeup looked lovely against it 😉)
