Six habits worth changing, and the first one is the one people argue with.

Filing thickened skin feels productive. You can see the result immediately. But your skin reads it as damage and rebuilds thicker than before, which is exactly why it returns every few weeks no matter how diligent you've been.

The last one on the list is the one almost nobody has been told. Very few of us stand evenly, so very few of us crack evenly. Whichever heel is worse is the one carrying more of your weight, not the one you've neglected.

๐Ÿ‘‰Swipe through. Which of the six were you doing?

You might be overwashing ๐Ÿ‘‡

Finish this sentence:

โ€œMy feet have had enough of ______.โ€

Go on. Weโ€™ll read every one. ๐Ÿ’š

Still using regular body lotion on your feet? ๐Ÿ‘€

Your heels might be asking for something a little more targeted.

Restorateโ€™s foot-care range contains **9%, 25% and 30% urea**, offering different levels of care for everything from everyday dryness to thick, rough and cracked-looking skin. ๐Ÿ‘ฃ

Not sure which strength is right for your feet? Leave your question below and we might answer it in our next Reel! ๐Ÿ‘‡

Why we make three strengths, not one ๐Ÿ‘‡

It would genuinely be cheaper to make one product.

We make three, and the reason is simple: 30% urea is too much for thin, sensitive skin, and 9% won't get through a heel that's already cracked. A single product would always be wrong for somebody.

โค๏ธ30% Revive โ€” deep cracks and thick build-up. The heavy one.
๐Ÿ’š25% Spray โ€” sensitive skin, or if bending to reach your feet isn't comfortable.
๐Ÿ’›9% Balm โ€” daily, for keeping things the way they are.

Most people who tell us a foot cream didn't work for them started on the wrong strength rather than the wrong brand. That's a much easier thing to sort out.

Which one are you using at the moment?

03/09/2026

"Meets requirements." "Needs improvement." Between them, that's every foot cream in the cupboard.

Here's what almost nobody does: turn one over. Ingredients are listed by concentration, most to least, so if the active ingredient is down near the fragrance, there's barely any in there.

Dr Ben's point is that it's usually not the brand. It's how much of the active is actually in the tube.

How many half-used ones are in your cupboard right now? No judgement. ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ

There are five different things that go into a foot cream, and most people have never been told what any of them do.

Keratolytics loosen the bonds holding hardened skin together. Humectants pull water into the skin and hold it there. Occlusives seal it in. Emollients smooth out what's left. Amino acids are the raw material the skin rebuilds with.

Urea is the only one on that list doing two jobs at once, it softens thickened skin and holds water in it. That's why the percentage matters more than the brand name.

And it's why body lotion doesn't work on heels. Heel skin is far thicker than the skin on your arms. Body lotion is formulated for thin skin, so it sits on the surface and never gets through.

๐Ÿ‘‰Swipe through. Which of the five had you heard of?

Last day of winter. ๐Ÿ‘€

Tomorrow, the socks come off and the feet come out.

If your heels have been living in winter shoes for the past few months, this might be your little reminder to give them some attention. ๐Ÿ’š

Spring starts tomorrow. ๐Ÿ‘ฃ

Save this for your spring foot-care reset.

Not all dry feet need the same level of care ๐Ÿ‘ฃ

The right formula can make all the difference.

Save this for when youโ€™re choosing your Restorate. โœจ
