Immediately after treatment, the brows may appear darker and more intense than expected. Some of this darkness can be caused by minor pinpoint bleeding, redness and skin sensitivity during the procedure.

Mature or delicate skin can sometimes bleed more easily or show redness around or behind the pigment due to irritation from the tattoo needle. This is generally temporary and should settle as the skin begins to heal.

What to expect:
• 5–7 days: Brows will begin to lighten as the surface heals.
• 6–8 weeks: The colour will soften and may appear approximately 40% lighter than immediately after treatment.
• The final healed colour and pigment retention will vary depending on skin type, age, lifestyle and individual healing.

Please don’t judge your final brow colour immediately after your appointment — freshly tattooed brows are always more intense than the healed result.

💗 A little reminder about cancellations

I completely understand that sometimes things happen and plans need to change. However, as a sole operator, I only get paid when my clients attend their appointments.

When an appointment is cancelled at the last minute, I often can’t refill that time. This is why my $25 deposit and 48-hour cancellation policy is in place.

I’m always happy to transfer your deposit when more than 48 hours’ notice is given. For cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours, the deposit will be forfeited.

⚠️ WHEN BROW TATTOO IS TOO SATURATED

This is an example of brows that we cannot safely correct or cover with more pigment.

There is already too much pigment saturation in the skin. Adding another layer of tattoo will not make the brows lighter or cleaner — it simply adds more pigment to already saturated skin.

In cases like this, we recommend laser removal/lightening first. Once the old pigment has been sufficiently reduced and the skin has fully healed, we can reassess the brows and discuss creating a softer, more natural result.
