The trick to a bright creamy blonde is to not eliminate too much gold. Toning down doesn’t always mean brighter & would you believe this was created with half head foils + some tipouts

Let’s talk removing box dye 📝

This is one session removing 3 x box dyes bought from the supermarket. (Only wanted 1/2 head foils)
Box dye 1 red gold
Box dye 2 red gold
Box dye 3 lightish brown (pictured in second pic)
And underneath it all bleach from being previous blonde

Regardless of how light this colour looked before those red/orange & warm pigments are their & they will show in the lighting process .

We went in slow and steady powder lightener 10 volume and ofc which lifted us to a 9.4 a beautiful light copper (which was to be expected)
We toned with a 9/00 & a 9/21 to keep the lightness aswell as tone the warmth creating a beautiful beige colour.

Sometimes our first lightning session isn’t always the exact result we have in mind but I’m always about the health of the hair and taking it slow when it comes to hair that has had soo much done.
