To conclude Exercise Right Week, members of our Exercise Physiology team had the opportunity to meet with the team from Berwick Family Osteopathy & Spinal Clinic to discuss how our services can work collaboratively to support the health and rehabilitation outcomes of clients. It was also a great opportunity to showcase our gym and rehabilitation space!

Berwick Family Osteopathy & Spinal Clinic provides osteopathic care focused on improving movement, reducing pain, and enhancing overall function and wellbeing. Their team supports patients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions, including back and neck pain, headaches, sports injuries, postural concerns, pregnancy-related discomfort, and mobility limitations through hands-on treatment and rehabilitation-based care.

At Your Body Hub, we really value collaborative, client-centred care and believe the best outcomes happen when healthcare professionals work together. As an allied health clinic, we love building strong relationships with other practitioners to make sure our clients receive well-rounded support throughout their health and rehabilitation journey.

Our personal performance classes are built to provide you with structured programming that allows you to take the thinking out of exercise. We use strong evidence-based exercise prescription to nurture you through an exercise program tailored to your current capacity, with planned changes and reviews every 12 weeks to make sure we are supporting you in the right direction.

Focussing on:
• Improving strength, fitness and overall performance
• Assist with management of pain and discomfort
• Rehabilitation of injuries or on-going health problems
• Be a part of a group environment (5:1), while being supported by an Accredited Exercise Professional.

We have state of the art VALD performance force plates that measure real-time metrics in strength, asymmetries and fatigue, helping us tailor your training to reduce injury risk and monitor recovery.

Meet Nate!
Nate has been attending the classes since January 2024 with the goal of becoming stronger to improve his athletics and football performance. He enjoys the group environment and values the relationships he has built with the clinicians, especially Bailey. One of Nate’s biggest achievements has been earning a place on the record board by setting the 5-10-5 pro agility record with an impressive time of 4.750 seconds.

Active Ageing classes are perfect if you are aiming to:
• Improve your functional strength to assist with daily activities
• Have had a recent fall and want to improve your balance & prevent future falls
• Improve your cardiovascular health & fitness
• Manage existing health conditions
• Complete supervised pre or post operative rehabilitation plans to improve surgical outcomes
• Find a supportive environment with like-minded people to connect with & exercise along side with

Each of the 8 participants in each class receives an individualised program catered to their goals, capabilities & conditons.

Every 12 weeks your Exercise Physiologist will reassess you individually, by completing comprehensive balance & strength testing to ensure your program includes everything you need.

Meet Chris!

Chris has been attending the classes for the past 16 months after initially starting due to very poor health. She enjoys the variety and structure of the programs, as well as the regular reassessments every 12 weeks that ensure her program is tailored to her progress and needs. Chris also values the professionalism and friendly nature of the entire Body Hub team, which makes each class enjoyable and something she looks forward to. Since starting, she has experienced significant improvements in her health, becoming stronger and noticing positive changes in her medical symptoms. Chris now feels optimistic about her future and grateful for the ongoing support and encouragement from the team.

Is your child wanting to improve their physical abilities and exercise? Is your child struggling to participate in exercise?

We offer Little Legends classes that are tailored for Primary School ages 5-12 years old. These classes foster confidence and the enjoyment for exercise and physical activity.

Our Little Legends classes are designed for safe and effective development of skills such as:

• Coordination
• Throwing & Catching
• Running Mechanics
• Jumping & Landing
• Hand/Foot-Eye Coordination
• Basics of Strength Development
• Body Awareness
• Teamwork

We welcome all abilities and exercise experience. Facilitated by our Exercise Physiologists, these sessions are perfect for kids with developmental delays and behavioural conditions.

Meet Mia!

Mia has been attending the classes for the past two years to help build her social skills with children her age, improve her fitness, boost her mood, and support her emotional self-regulation. What she enjoys most is socialising with other kids and taking part in fun games and activities that help build her confidence while keeping sessions enjoyable. Since joining, Mia has made significant progress in her confidence, which has positively impacted her social skills and interactions with both other children and the EPs at Your Body Hub.
