This is no ordinary Anzac Day.
Victorians are remembering our veterans from their driveways and letterboxes and lounge rooms.
It's different – but no less significant.
But one thing you can't do from home is buy a badge or pin from a veteran.
As a result, the RSL expects to raise just a fraction of what it usually does.
So on behalf of every Victorian, our Government is donating $2.2 million to this year's Anzac Appeal and other fundraising efforts.
These funds will go towards vital support for veterans – including help with accommodation, food and medical bills.
They have sacrificed so much for us.
This is the least we can do for them.

My heart goes out to all the families affected by bushfires and the firefighters!
