Having a head lice issue, help is hear, Little Miss Lady Bugs!

Do you know what Lice Eggs look like?

You may be treating for Head Lice when it's NOT necessary!

Head Lice lay their eggs CLOSE to the scalp.
They are greyish brown in colour and the size of a poppy seed.
When the nymph has hatched it leaves behind its shell connected to the hair shaft with strong glue. The only way to remove these shells is manual removal.

It is not necessary for these eggs to be removed, they will grow out with the hair; therefore any egg 3cm or more down the hair shaft is just an empty shell and does NOT need treating.

ENSURE you have screened the whole head to make sure there are no live Lice and the eggs are just shells.

How to know the eggs are just shells?

They will be WHITE in colour. When you pull it off and place it onto a white piece of paper you see no colour in the shell at all. If there is slight discolouration there is a possibility it may still be a Lice awaiting to hatch. Lice shells will not POP in between your nails.

How to know the difference between dandruff and eggs??
Dandruff will flake off when brushed, eggs need to be pulled off.
