Sometimes in this work we do there can be what I call "ouchie bits" and today you bravely embraced some of those, and worked through the processes of acknowledging them, releasing them, and beginning to allow some healing to happen 💗
You showed up, did the work, and then moved your work into a softening, a gentle release 💗

This week K🌹 began to work on her 4th large 60 x 90cm canvas! 🖼
She also repainted the cover of one of her many journals 📕 and added texture, as well as painting the edges of the pages 📕
K🌹's colour mixing choices are always incredible!
The beginning of layers on the canvas with stencilling and also flipping stencils to make marks and patterns - these will pick up other patterns in future layers! Ahmazing!

Shane had an incredible session creating today, and could have kept going for another hour I'm sure! 👏👏
We listened to relaxation music and dimmed the lights - to create an atmosphere of calm, and cool - the opposite of outside today. It was wonderful to retreat into the Studio space 🌿

🎨🌿 We collected soft green leaves for printing!
And created messy pieces for our journals using watery thin paint in squeezy bottles and chopsticks to spread the paint and create patterns 🌀
🎨🖼 Layers are continually building on the canvasses. Each layer adds more texture, pattern and story to the final piece! We used 'wet ones' to wipe wet paint - out - of stencils! This creates a completely different look and is so much fun!

K🌹 has a plan with the encyclopaedia cutouts - next week she will categorise all of the pictures she has gathered. She has 3 topics in mind - Architecture, Animals, and Plants 🌿 Her Intention is then to gather the images in like groups, and write a story that will connect them all 📕
And then K🌹 will create Journals (with her magic Juju) for the stories and images to come together!
