Why shave before your laser treatments?
✔️ You must shave prior to each appointment so the laser is able to target the root of the hair. Once the laser pulses, the melanin absorbs light, heats up and detaches the hair follicle from the shaft.
❌ If you wax, pluck/tweeze, thread, or do any form of hair removal that removes the hair from the root, you are leaving nothing for the laser to target.
❌ If the hair is too long, you will only be targeting the surface of the skin which will lead to having the same continuous hair growth.
