One of the best gifts I’ve ever received 🥰

I often forget to take photos when we have team bonding events and celebrations … and when I do remember, I normally just keep it between the team, because we know what we have is something special.

If you’ve watched some of my other reels, you’ll also know that I hate the smokes and mirrors social media accounts often portray.

But when applying for the WA Skin, Spa, Aesthetics & Beauty Awards awards, and we had to provide evidence (rightly so) on our leadership, I reached for my favourite cup to make a cup of tea, and right then and there I was holding a genuine piece of acknowledgment from a team member that they had custom made.

Kicking myself now for not including in my submission all the other beautiful things I’ve received from my team as tokens of appreciation and displays of how well they know me.

The most rewarding part of business, despite all the challenges I’ve faced the past few years, is how good our team culture is 🥰

These applications are making me go a lil loco 🤪

Something that has actually been really amazing to reflect on whilst doing the applications is how much we’ve achieved within the year.
Most days we’re constantly growing, trying to improve systems, learning, keeping up to date with Industry regulations, compliance, providing the best care for our clients, researching products/ treatments etc etc …
By submitting evidence for these awards, it has truly allowed me to sit back, see it collated together and recognise all the achievements, challenges we’ve hurdled, where we’ve supported the community, how many internal systems we’ve created, the incredible feedback we’ve received, the skin results we’ve achieved as well as the milestones (professionally and personally) we’ve celebrated with each other.

So proud of my team and myself for what we’ve created and what’s to come!
