Commitment, trust and one year laterπͺ
Two words I use a lot in clinic.
Commitment.
Trust.
This transformation was not over a few treatments, or months. It was over 14 months of 10 visits to yours truly, prescription homecare and believing in the process.
Firstly, thank you to my beautiful client (and friend) for committing to seeing me every 6 to 8 weeks. That takes a lot, and thank you for trusting in my advice that the journey would not be a quick one.
What did we do?
πͺ 3 x advanced needling treatments
πͺ 1 x full face IPL photorejuvenation treatment (in the same session as our Prostamp treatment)
πͺ 5 x full face microneedling treatments
πͺ1 x Linderhealth polite peel
πͺ Ongoing homecare
Chefs kiss to this baddie for having healthy, happy skin!

Its ok if clinicians do it differently.
This is just my way, and it produces the results πͺ

4 months πͺ
3 in clinic treatments, various small lifestyle adjustments and a full home regime.
We will continually treat the skin every 6 to 8 weeks, this will be ongoing. Our main goal is to work on texture, early signs on ageing, breakouts and just to keep the skin as healthy and well functioning as possible.
This was so hard to sandwich into 3 minutes!
Tretinoin (retinoic acid) is a hot topic and something I get asked for advice on regularly. If you're confused about Tretinoin/retinol/vitamin A (they're the same but different) then I hope this helps! πͺ
If you're currently using some sort of Vitamin A in your routine, but not sure if it's right for you, give this a watch and listen.

Understand and prevent maturation arrest acne πͺ
What is it?
βIt is a unique, non-inflamed type of acne characterized by a large number of closed comedones packing the surface of the skin.
Causes?
βHormonal imbalances-Elevated levels of testosterone are often at fault.
Comedogenic products: Using skincare or cosmetic products containing ingredients that aren't suited for your skin type can trigger congestion.
Omega fatty acid deficiency-leads to an imbalance in sebum secretion and excretion.
Excessive inflammation-Driven by factors like extreme exercise, intense sweating, or an inflammatory diet.
How to treat?
βTo treat maturation arrest acne,I like to focus on applying corrective and "skin-digesting" products. Exfoliating acids (particularly glycolic) and retinals are highly effective at clearing this type of congestion.
In clinic, professional extractions and peels are the best modality to clear stubborn congestion.

2 treatments..consistent homecare πͺ

Confused?
Me too! There is SO much information out there telling us what's best for our skin. Some good, some not so much.
My one rule is keep it simple. Less is more.
I've outlined some basic regimes (yes most of which are 3 products) that can kick-start your skin to being happy.
Of course every skin is different, but im demonstrating that homecare for your skin doesn't need to be scary. Its fun and very rewarding β¨οΈ
If you're stuck, and are looking at starting a skincare regime at home..save this post or send it to a friend πͺ
Peels not getting results?
Introducing peels.
No downtime. Just results.
By working on dormant cells (that cause inflammation) these peels are transformational. Founded by Dr. Jennifer Linder, they use gentle, skin barrier-friendly acid blends to target cellular dysfunction rather than causing aggressive, inflammatory peeling.
I reccommend a course of 3 to 6 peels. They can also be applied post microneedling to boost results πͺ
