My name is Gemma the owner/beauty therapist at Hidden Gem’s Massage Therapy. I’m a Holistic Home Beauty Salon in Carramar W.A. I’ve been with my husband Neil for 25 years and married for 17 years. 💖💙. We met on holiday in Perth back in 1998. It turned out that we only lived 10 minutes apart from each other back in the UK. We went on to have two children together. Alex now 14 and Ava now 12 💙💖,(nearly two teenagers in the house, eek! 😅 ), and not forgetting our fur baby Henry! 🐶💙. But, before we settled down with a family we decided that we would like to go and do some travelling 🌎. We worked hard and saved for a couple of years and finally had enough to fulfil our dream. We went to the U.S, Canada, Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, and Spain. We had a once in a lifetime experience. Making new friendships, and doing the obligatory thrill seeking activities like; skydiving, hang gliding, hiking to Machu Picchu etc…
Then in 2012 we moved to Perth! Now for more about me!! Whilst growing up I either wanted to look after children or be a beauty therapist. I decided on the latter and completed my training at college. After completing my training, I worked at a renowned health farm gaining a lot of experience and further training. I then moved back to start a new adventure, working from our family home with my mum and sister Debbie, who were also beauty therapists (must run in the family! 🤩 ). We built up a successful business together. I cherished every minute and was so grateful to not only do what I loved but also do it with my mum and sister. It was magic! ✨
This is what motivated me to start up my very own business here in Perth ‘Hidden Gems Massage Therapy’ which I have run from my home for the last 8 years. As well as my passion for beauty, I have been a support worker for 3 years caring for an amazing lady called Deb💖. Deb and her family have become like a second family to me over here 🤗. In my spare time, my favourite thing to do is spend time with my beautiful family. I also enjoy going for coastal walks with friends, walking our dog Henry, yoga, aerobics, baking and arts and crafts with my daughter Ava. You’ll get to see some of Ava’s artwork and some of the earrings she has made in my reception area/beauty room # very proud mum 💕🤗

Reflexology isn’t just a foot massage. 🤍
While a foot massage generally focuses on soothing tired feet, reflexology uses gentle, targeted pressure on specific reflex points. These points are traditionally associated with different areas of the body.
It’s a lovely way to slow down, switch off and enjoy a peaceful hour just for you. Many clients become so relaxed that they drift off during their appointment. ✨

Introducing Skin Needling at Hidden Gems Beauty 🤍
Skin needling creates tiny, controlled microchannels in the skin to support its natural renewal process and encourage collagen and elastin production.
It may help improve the appearance of:
• Fine lines
• Enlarged pores
• Uneven skin texture
• Acne scarring
• Dull or tired-looking skin
Every appointment begins with a consultation to discuss your skin, your concerns and whether the treatment is suitable for you.
Your skin is thoroughly cleansed, and numbing cream is applied beforehand to help keep you comfortable throughout the treatment. A sterile, single-use cartridge is then gently worked across the treatment area.
Afterwards, hyaluronic acid is applied to help hydrate and soothe the skin.
Redness, warmth, tightness, mild dryness or sensitivity can be expected following the treatment and will gradually settle as your skin recovers. Everyone’s skin responds differently, so recovery times can vary.
For the first 24 hours, avoid makeup, heat, sweating and swimming. For the following 3–5 days, keep your skincare gentle, avoid active ingredients and protect your skin with SPF.
Results develop gradually over the following weeks. While one treatment can leave the skin looking refreshed, a course may be recommended when targeting specific concerns.

Fat Cavitation and Radio Frequency are not the same treatment 🤍
Although they’re often used together, each one has a different purpose:
✨ Fat Cavitation is designed to target localised areas of stubborn fat and support body contouring.
✨ Radio Frequency uses controlled warmth to support collagen production and improve the appearance of skin firmness and texture.
For clients wanting to address both body contour and loose-looking skin, I often combine the two treatments so they can complement each other.
Body sculpting is not a weight-loss treatment, and results will vary from person to person. A course of treatments is usually recommended for the best outcome.

Brow mapping helps me create a shape that works with your natural brows and features, rather than giving everyone the same shape. 🤍
Once I’m happy with the design, I shape the brows and apply a customised brow tint to add a little more definition.
