🌟 We’re Hiring Experienced Massage Therapists! | Myaree Sports Massage 🌟

Myaree Sports Massage is a massage clinic that focuses on therapeutic massage and integrates a variety of alternative therapies, located in the suburb of Myaree, south of Perth. It has convenient transportation and surrounding environment, spacious and hygienic workplace, friendly management and team, and a number of professional therapists. Our Mission – Is to provide clients effective remedies, through various massage techniques, to alleviate clients' stress, aches, pains and strains, abet recovery or rehabilitation time, and improve their overall health. We are currently looking for qualified, professional, experienced Massage Therapists to cope with the growing business.

Job summary

Initial client consultations to understand individual client needs, analysis and discuss range of treatments targeted to improve the health of each client, and record for future treatments. Existing clients review treatment records, discuss any ongoing issues and adjust treatment where necessary for best outcome for the client, providing beneficial remedial massage therapy.

Responsibilities and duties

Perform a range of remedial massage therapies targeting individual client’s needs.

Assess client’s physical condition and case history to provide advice on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.

Recording of treatment history, organizing and control of client files. Reading client’s treatment plans and case history prior to client arrival.

Performing soft tissue massage including muscles, tendons and ligaments to assist healing.

Assess and identify specific treatments for soft tissue dysfunction and discuss rehabilitation techniques to ensure clients understand the advice given.

Perform various massage techniques including but not limited to, acupressure, acupuncture, dry needling, cupping, scraping, shiatsu, etc., and use of complementary aids such as infra-red lamps, wet compresses, ice essential oils and herbal and mineral therapies to assist recovery.

Promote Company services and avoid any behavior that is detrimental to the company.

Cleaning up the working environment.

Knowledge of running massage clinic, maintaining individual client records, appointment bookings, payment facilities.

Qualifications and skills

Diploma of Remedial Massage

Health Fund Provider Numbers

Professional Insurance

First AID

Working with children's check

2 years of experience in the field of massage, and better to have experience in medical-related industries as well.

Good communication skills. Preferably also speaking a second language other than English.

Salary: $55,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year.
