Talent isn’t always the problem.
You can be really good at what you do and still be thinking…
“How do I get myself in front of more brides?”
“Why aren’t the right brides finding me?”
“I know I need to post more, but I have too many ideas and don’t follow through with any of them.”
Or even…
“I don’t know how to make good reels.” 😂
These are actual conversations I’ve been having with bridal hair + makeup artists lately.
And here is what we’ve discovered runs true-
Talent gets you noticed.
Trust gets you booked.
Because a bride can love your work and still choose somebody else.
Your artistry matters — but so does how your business makes her feel before she ever sits in your chair.

I’ve realised there are two very different reasons talented bridal artists stay underbooked.
The first is visibility.
You’re genuinely talented, but not enough of the right people are discovering you.
The second is conversion.
People ARE finding you. They’re enquiring. But they’re price shopping, disappearing or choosing someone else.
And here’s where I think our industry gets this wrong:
We give both women the same advice.
‘Post more.’
‘Make more Reels.’
‘Show your face.’
‘Be consistent.’
But those are two COMPLETELY different business problems.
And until you know which one you actually have, you can spend a LOT of time fixing the wrong thing (know from experience)
So I’m curious — which one are you?
