Just a couple of amazing recents that somehow slipped through the chaos of the last two weeks ❤️

Something that always amazes me is that when the pressure is ON and I’m completely under the pump, I’ll flick back through my camera roll afterwards and think… wow, we actually did some epic hair 😂

It’s a bit like driving somewhere on autopilot, arriving safely and then thinking… did I actually stop at that red light? 😂

The last two weeks have been FULL ON. The post-holiday catch-up was very real, and with my right-hand girl Teleah not well, there were definitely moments where the salon felt like a bit of a madhouse.

But somehow, amongst all of it… look at the incredible colours we turned out ❤️

And honestly, it’s always so humbling to have clients who stick by us through the crazy days, roll with the chaos and continue to support our little salon.

That support never, ever goes unnoticed.

Meet beautiful Gemma ❤️

Gemma’s hair loss story began in her early teens, because being a teenage girl isn’t bloody hard enough already.

Gem lives with androgenetic alopecia, a common form of hair loss where genetically and hormonally sensitive hair follicles gradually produce finer, shorter hairs over time. For Gemma, it has meant significant thinning through the top and crown from a really young age.

Understandably, she has spent years feeling incredibly conscious of her hair and often reaches for a hat to cover it.

But let me tell you something this girl absolutely ROCKS her pixie. ❤️

I’ve been doing Gem’s hair for years, and in all that time there has been one hairstyle she has always wanted: a beautiful concave bob.

We’ve talked about it so many times, but we simply haven’t had enough natural density through the top to create the shape she wanted.

Until today. 🥹

We customised the density so it gave her coverage without overwhelming her naturally fine hair. Her colour was carefully matched and customised to blend seamlessly with her own. Then the entire piece was cut and shaped on Gemma, incorporating her natural hair into that gorgeous concave bob she has wanted for YEARS.
