We LOVE skin needling… but we are also incredibly fussy about it.

Because skin needling isn’t simply a case of picking up a pen and creating lots of little holes in the skin and having a miraculous skin change.

There is so much more happening beneath the surface.

•Your skin needs to be healthy enough to respond well, if the skin isn't ready then you just copy the unhealthy pattern with new skin cells.

•The depth needs to be appropriate for the skin, the area and what we’re treating. Deeper doesn't mean better and needling is a very visual treatment, completely customised to the skin on the day. This is why it is extremely important to have a skin therapist who is highly trained in needling.

•What we use on the skin matters, how you prep your skin matters and your aftercare matters. And then we need to actually give your skin time to do what we’ve asked it to do.

One of the biggest misconceptions we still see is that deeper + more blood = better needling.

It doesn’t.

The aim isn’t to create as much trauma as possible. It’s to create the right controlled response to stimulate the skin’s natural repair and remodelling processes.

And sometimes, when we assess your skin, we will tell you we’re not ready to needle yet. That’s not us holding you back from results, that is us wanting to get you better results. We take pride in what we do, and we don't want you having a negative impression of needling because you got medicore results.
So, we strengthen, we prep and we needle when the skin is ready. And then m9st IMPORTANTLY.. we protect and support what we have stimulated.

After 20+ years as a skin therapist, and with continued advanced education in skin needling, we will always choose what your skin needs over simply performing the treatment you booked.
