Maria - Brazilian Hairdresser My name is Maria, I am from Brazil. I am a mature woman (young at heart) and have a lot of life experience.
I always admire people who are well cared for, well treated hair, makeup and elegant.
When I was a teenager I was involved in the world of fashion and was a model. That fascinated me and I learnt a lot.
After that I got married, raised a family and dedicated my life to Education. I am a teacher and have three university degrees in this area.
I'm a dreamer, I developed my own projects and had my own school for 15 years. Five years ago, I decided it was time for a change.
I did several courses in the area of beauty. I retired from Education and hairdressing and makeup artist is what I am today.
I feel very happy to help people to change their look, they look better, feel pretty and feel better about themselves.
I try using all the psychology that I acquired in my 20 years as a teacher, with my clients.
Attending brides for weddings is really uplifting. First I listen to what they want and dream. Then I help them choose the best option for hair and makeup for the big day. The beautiful bride feels safe and peaceful with fantastic results for the big time in their lives.
I am very communicative and it helps me with my clients. I am always a friend of all.
I feel I'm getting stronger and I am very happy to be doing my work in Australia among people of different tastes, traditions and culture
