Today was Yen’s first time ever doing acrylics on a client and she jumped straight into the deep end with long acrylic nails because that’s what our model requested. No warm-ups. No shortcuts. Straight to the hard part.

And honestly? Her work was phenomenal.

I even demo’d one hand for her, and I’ll be real… I wasn’t happy with my own side. I preferred her work over mine — and that’s exactly what I want to see from a first class. Confidence, detail, and natural skill kicking in immediately.

First classes are always the hardest, but she absolutely smashed it today.
