Leaving behind a little piece of me at The Village 🤎

My time at The Village was such a special chapter. I felt like I fit right in, like I was there to help tell its story through my own creative lens. And now, as I pass the torch on, I’m so proud to leave something behind that holds a piece of that story too.

As a visitor on Whadjuk Noongar Boodja, I feel incredibly privileged to share a piece of my own culture and connection to my ancestors through this artwork, created as an Acknowledgement of Country and woven together with the story of The Village.

The women. Our children. Motherhood. Connection. Community. Our past, present and future. Our village.

It means so much to finally see this piece in its new home, where you can all experience it for yourselves.
