This honestly sucks.
I’ve been pretty quiet with makeup content lately, and the reason is that I’m currently waiting for a biopsy on a spot on my head that may be another skin cancer. 🥺
At the moment, wearing makeup makes the area dry, itchy and flaky, so I’ve made the decision to stop doing makeup on myself until I know what’s going on and can get it treated if needed.
It’s frustrating because makeup is something I genuinely love, and after finally getting back into it this year and sharing that journey with all of you, taking a step back isn’t something I wanted to do.
Thank you to everyone who has supported my makeup content, followed along, and encouraged me. And thank you to the brands / other MUAs that have reached out supported me you’ve all played a part in helping me rediscover something I love. (All brands tagged)
For now, I’m choosing to focus on my health. I’ll still be doing makeup on others, so if you’d like to book in, my inbox is always open.
Hopefully I’ll be back creating makeup content sooner rather than later. 🤍
