Bungendore Park, 498 hectares, is located on the edge of the Darling Scarp approximately 30 km southeast of Perth and approximately 5 km southeast of central Armadale. It is part of the Wungong Regional Park
The native vegetation consists of open Jarrah-Marri forest with smaller areas of Wandoo woodland and heath surrounding granite outcrops. The dominant vegetation complex is Upland Jarrah Forest.

Today, at a historic site on the Aboriginal trail, we learned many secrets of bush survival, and we're happy to share them with you!
For the first time, we saw a large number of beautiful banksia🏵️ trees.
Since the large inflorescences contain a large amount of sweet nectar, they are steeped in water to make a traditional sweet drink, and so on...

We were lucky to meet today the famous "King Jarrah" is a massive, 36 to 50-meter-tall Eucalyptus marginata tree located in Western Australia.
Estimated to be between 300 and 500 years old, it stands as a resilient survivor that has endured centuries of bushfires, storms, lightning, and intense logging, including the era of European settlement that began in the 1830s
